In this class students will have the opportunity to create any type of ornament they wish with a vast array of stained glass to choose from. However, this class challenges the student by means of limitation. The student must learn problem solving skill how to effectively maximize the use of glass and stay within a recommended size and number of pieces used. These are true to life skills any artist will face and methods will be provided on how to ensure your design will work and meet the requirements. Students will be given the task to design within the perimeters of the assignment, pick out and cut their glass, and then assemble. Each ornament will have to consist anywhere between six to nine pieces of glass.
