Red Mountain Makers

Class Cancellation, Refunds, and Rescheduling Policy

Out of respect for our instructors, other students, and the volunteers that facilitate classes and events at Red Mountain Makers, we kindly ask that all students make a good faith effort to attend the classes they register for. However, we understand that unexpected circumstances do arise. The following outlines the general cancellation, refunds, and rescheduling policy for classes and events at Red Mountain Makers. This policy applies unless specifically indicated in the event information. All cancellation and rescheduling requests should be sent to classes@redmountainmakers.org

No Shows: Failure to show up for the class without notice (or acceptable exception) will be considered a same day cancellation.

Gift Voucher: Gift vouchers can be used on classes or memberships at Red Mountain Makers.

Rescheduling: Requests to be directly rescheduled for the same class at a later date cannot be guaranteed due to availability. There is a maximum of one reschedule per registration. If rescheduling is requested a full refund is no longer available.

Exceptions: In the case of a medical incident, a death, natural disaster, or other emergencies, the cancellation penalties may be waived by approval of the board. The board maintains the right to require verification or proof of such events by the registrant.

Class Cancellation: If an event or class is canceled by Red Mountain Makers or the course instructor, a full refund will be offered independent of the timing. If requested by the attendee, Red Mountain Makers will attempt to directly reschedule the attendee for a future offering of the same class, or (upon request) a different class of equal value, at no cost to the attendee. However rescheduling for a particular class or date cannot be guaranteed due to availability.

Minimum Enrollment: At the discretion of our instructions, some classes have a minimum enrollment in order for the class to be held. In the event of cancellation due to not reacing minimum enrollment, a full monetary refund will be issued.

Alternative policies:  Individual instructors are permitted to request an alternative policy for their class. Such a policy must be approved by the board and once approved be clearly indicated on the class listing and class communications.
