Special March Pen Class: Faith Hope & Love Twist Pen (04/04/2026)

Special pen class for March 2026! Rescheduled for April 4th

Each month, we are going to offer a special pen class not regularly offered. For March, the special pen class will be a Faith, Hope, and Love pen made out of Bethlehem Olive wood.

Faith Hope & Love Twist Pen:

This time around Easter is a great opportunity to craft a pen that embodies deep meaning and spirituality. The center band intricately features the words "Faith," "Hope," and "Love." The pen top showcases bold cross designs. The crosses on the tips and clips unmistakably reference the Fleur-de-lis. In Christian religious art rom the Middle Ages, the symbols of the lily and Fleur-de-lis were closely intertwined. The three petals of the heraldic design must powerfully symbolize the Holy Trinity. In this context, the three symbols represent the unwavering virtues of Faith, Hope, and Love.

The braided rope detail must further emphasize the concept of the Trinity, as a braided rope is made from three separate strands, creating something much stronger. The pen delivers flawless writing performance with a Parker-style refill.

The pen blanks used in this class are Bethlehem Olive wood and come with a certificate of authenticity. This pen makes a perfect gift for pastors, elders, deacons, or any church leader. No experience is required to take this class. Class is limited to 3 students. Cost of $125.00 includes all materials needed.

About the Instructor: Terry Tingle is a long time member of the Alabama Woodturners Association and is a member of The American Association of Woodturners. Terry has been teaching students how to turn pens for years, some of whom have had their exhibitions in Art and Craft Shows throughout Alabama, including Mentone.
